BREST, 23 July (BelTA) - A bike festival, Brest Motor Music Weekend, will be held in Brest on 24–25 July to mark City Day. One of the main competition prizes will be a motorcycle,
BelTA learned from the festival organizers.
The festival will take place for the third time. It will be held at the Alliance karting track. The event will combine a sports program, entertainment, and contests for spectators. The festival will feature performances by the Brest road-circuit motorcycle racing team, demonstration shows, as well as a camping area, food courts, and themed zones. A wide range of interactive activities have been prepared, including motorcycle contests, drift taxis, and themed competitions.
Around 30 motorcyclists from different regions of Belarus and also athletes from Moscow will take part in the sports segment of the festival.
"A new thing of the festival will be a competition, with a motocross bike as the main prize. Twenty participants will be selected by drawing lots. The same number of people will be able to test their skills in another contest - a draniki (potato pancake) eating competition. The selection will be done on the spot among the guests,” the organizers said.The festival is organized with the support of the Brest City Executive Committee.
