MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin has signed a resolution setting the base rate at Br45, effective 1 January 2026, the government’s press service told BelTA.
This represents an increase from the 2025 base rate, which is Br42.
The adjustment will have a two-fold effect: it will increase the amount of various social payments (benefits, scholarships, financial assistance) and simultaneously adjust the amount of certain budgetary revenues (state duties, fines).
